The fall season in Southern Alberta is traditionally sunny, however it can be cool. A typical day may begin with an early morning frost then tapering into a pleasant sunny day.

Ø      Travel Documents- You must have Proof of Citizenship with you when coming to Canada. You will also need a Canadian Hunting License.

Ø      Guns

o       Airlines require that you have a locking gun case, or trigger locks if being carried in a soft case.

Ø      Shells

Ø      Good shooting gloves

Ø      Upland game vest or jacket

Ø      Comfortable walking boots are essential (cactus is abundant!)

Ø      Camera & Film or Video Recorder

Ø      Dogs- Retrievers, Pointers, Flushing Dogs are all welcome.

o       Dogs require a certificate of health from a vet to get across the border.
